Coach on your terms
Cotra is a tool you run your coaching on. It does not sit between you and the people you coach.
Your hours, your rules
You decide when you are available and who is in your space. Nothing is published to the public.
Your rates stay yours
Fees are agreed directly with each family and settled between you, exactly as they are today.
No commission
Cotra takes nothing from your coaching income. When in-app payments arrive, founding coaches keep a 0% platform fee.
Your relationships
Cotra does not introduce, rank or recommend coaches. The families in your space are the ones you brought.

Which sports does Cotra support?
Nothing in the tool is sport-specific — it handles availability, booking requests and messages. The pilot is running with UK grassroots cricket coaches because that is where we can get feedback fastest.
Does Cotra check or verify coaches?
No. Cotra does not verify DBS checks, qualifications, insurance, identity or club affiliation, and having a Cotra account is not an endorsement. Cotra is a tool for coaches and the families who already know them — deciding a coach is suitable remains with the parent or guardian. This is set out in full in the Athlete and Guardian Terms.
Who is Cotra for?
Coaches running their own grassroots sessions, and the parents and guardians of the athletes they already coach. Accounts are held by adults; children do not have Cotra accounts.
How does booking work?
The coach publishes the times they are available. A guardian in that coach’s space requests one of those slots. The coach confirms or declines, and confirming locks the slot so it cannot be double-booked.
Can I pay through Cotra?
Not yet. Money for sessions currently changes hands directly between the coach and the family, exactly as it does now. In-app payments are planned for a later release, and the terms will be updated before that goes live.

Cotra is in a closed pilot and there is no public sign-up. Email us with the sport you coach and how you currently handle bookings, and we will get back to you.
